Interior Design By Jo

Auchenflower Apartment

This apartment overlooking the Brisbane River received a full renovation and refurbishment including a modern kitchen designed to improve functionality and openness.

An open walk in shower with corner seat and large storage unit were created by removing the spa bath and floor to ceiling tiles and complementary cabinetry and stone bench tops in both ensuite and bathroom gave a sophisticated finish to the apartment.

A bedroom wardrobe was transformed into a built in study storage unit and the Master Bedroom had a custom walk in robe and furniture.

Sheer curtains were used throughout living room and bedrooms with a custom sofa and furniture selected to tie the spaces together.

The large balcony has an intimate outdoor lounge area with a large open dining space that connects to the interior colour palette and gives ample space to relax.

Ensuite plumbing for vanity was in floor and could not be moved.

As we had designed a wall hung vanity, a hob was built under the vanity to accommodate the plumbing.

Jo was recommended to us by a Property Developer who had used her services. We had purchased an 18 year old penthouse apartment that needed a substantial renovation whilst we were overseas for 3 months.

Jo did all designs and selections of finishes and furniture prior to us leaving and oversaw the renovation in our absence. We arrived back to a stunning transformation which has added considerable value to our property.

We could not speak highly enough of Jo’s professionalism and enthusiasm for her work and have no hesitation in recommending her to any potential client. Very easy to work with and completely honest and diligent in the manner she carries out her duties.
